CFO Searches: Future-Proofing Financial Goals and Strategies Across Industries

CFO placements have been a central focus this quarter, spanning both private equity and traditional multinational clients. In a recent newsletter, we analyzed the recent trend that documented external CFO hires reaching a 10-year high.
 
Some factors driving the uptick in demand for CFOs and other finance-oriented executives include a lack of effective succession making internal recruiting less feasible, and prevailing geopolitical uncertainty. In times of prolonged global tension and ambiguity, companies lean heavily on the expertise of CFOs to mitigate financial risks and tend to choose a more conservative growth trajectory.
